Bishop & Royal is a Waterloo-based consulting firm bringing together business strategy, technology, marketing, and data. We help organizations solve complex problems, identify opportunities for growth, and turn strategy into practical action.

Our multidisciplinary approach allows us to work across challenges that do not fit neatly into one category. Whether you need strategic direction, help navigating a complex technical business problem, a stronger approach to growth, or better data to guide decisions, we bring the right perspectives together to move the work forward.

Our experience spans business strategy, engineering, technology, marketing, analytics, and organizational leadership.

That breadth allows us to understand both the bigger business picture and the systems, data, and execution behind it.

We work as advisors, problem-solvers, and implementation partners depending on what the challenge requires. Some clients come to us for strategic counsel. Others need hands-on execution or ongoing support. In every engagement, our focus is the same: clear thinking, practical solutions, measurable progress, and work grounded in integrity.

Now based in Waterloo Region, we work with organizations locally and across Canada and beyond.

Meet Rob

Rob Levesque, P.Eng., EMBA, MSc, is Co-Founder & Principal, Technical Business Strategy at Bishop & Royal. He works with leaders navigating complex problems at the intersection of engineering, technology, and business, helping technical and business stakeholders develop a shared understanding of what is happening and determine a practical path forward.

With more than fifteen years of experience spanning engineering, enterprise technology, quality, systems design, business analytics, and strategy, Rob brings both technical depth and commercial perspective to complex organizational challenges. His strength lies in asking the right questions, identifying connections across systems, and translating between technical realities and business priorities.

Rob holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics and an Executive MBA with Honours and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). He has also completed MIT's Architecture & Systems Engineering program, with training in model-based systems engineering and quantitative methods. His multidisciplinary background supports his work in technical business diagnostics, strategic working sessions, analytics, technology strategy, and executive and board advisory.

At Bishop & Royal, Rob works with organizations that need to make sense of complicated situations before deciding what comes next. Rather than approaching technical, operational, and business questions in isolation, he helps teams examine how those pieces interact, surface the issues that matter most, and translate complexity into clearer decisions and actionable strategy.

Outside of work, Rob keeps current with developments in AI, technology, and emerging systems and enjoys staying active, playing tennis, and surfing.
